Our Programs
Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 5:30pm Mondays through Fridays. Child Care is offered year-round excluding legal holidays. We currently care for children 6 weeks thru school age.
Preschool is offered for children 3-5. Our preschool program starts in late August and runs thru May. We follow the Jamestown Public School calendar.
Our Center uses “The Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers” and “The Creative Curriculum for Infant, Toddlers and Twos.” The curriculum identifies goals in four areas of development:
Social/emotional—helping children develop independence, self-confidence, self-control and make friends.
Physical—increasing children’s large muscle skills
Cognitive—acquire thinking skills such as: problem solving skills, asking questions and logically thinking
Language—develop communication skills: speaking, listening and writing.
